How is Lifecycle Design integrated into Method Bins?

2. Materials & Manufacturing for Durability - injection moulded polypropylene is durable and able to withstand the weight of the waste
3. Designed for Flexibility and Modularity - recycling changes over time; if you need to change or add bins, you can re-label or replace lids - not the whole bin
4. Designed to avoid spills:
   - The bins base is fully sealed, so if there are any liquids put into the bins, it’s not going to leak, create a hazard and require additional cleaning products
   - The patented bag retainer keeps the liner in place, stopping it from slipping and waste from ending up in the bin, again avoiding additional water and chemicals for cleaning
5. Repair Don’t Replace - moving parts can wear out over time; Method’s support team can send out replacement parts to keep your bins in good shape
6. Invest in Change - we treat things as we value them; a good-looking, well-designed product is going to be better cared for
7. 100% Polypropylene - keeping the materials consistent is best for end-of-life recycling; the recycled materials are circular, easily disassembled, and the entire bin goes through the same process
8. End-of-Life Bin Program - At the end of their long life, Method take back our bins and ensure that they are recycled locally. Better yet, if they're still in a good condition (which they often are) we refurbish them and donte them to a local charity. Learn more here.
9. Packaged and Shipped to Reduce Carbon + Waste - our bins are packaged in 100% cardboard, are stacked to reduce package size and shipped via sea freight from New Zealand to our Sydney Warehouse.
