Sales Support - Wellington

Method are the makers of beautiful office recycling bins, designed and manufactured in New Zealand. Our products can be found in the world’s most influential facilities including Wellington Airport, Sydney Opera House, Melbourne University, Qantas, Canva, Westpac, and world-leading architects Foster and Partners in London. We are transforming the way businesses commit to sustainability through our innovative approach.

Since our launch in 2015 we have been the winners of numerous reputable business and design awards including a Deloitte Fast 50 rising star, an emerging exporter award at the ExportNZ Wellington Export Awards, and we are now a finalist in this category at the New Zealand International Business Awards.

In the three years since our launch, we have grown to a team of 15. Moreover, we estimate that in FY2018 we empowered our customers to divert 37 million kg of waste from landfill.

Job Description

It’s an amazing time to join Method as we continue to scale up. We’re searching for a Sales Support team member to help us deliver world-class products to our customers and drive sales as we expand at an exciting rate into international markets.

In this varied inbound support role, you will:

  • Provide world-class service to Method customers; help our customers achieve successful outcomes
  • Answer customer enquiries promptly and professionally via apps, email and phone
  • Ensure quotes & sales orders are prepared/processed accurately and promptly
  • Ensure orders are fulfilled correctly and delivered successfully
  • Ensure returns are handled effectively and administered correctly; complaints are resolved quickly – confidently identify solutions to problems
  • Be dedicated to becoming a Method expert – we want our team to know our products and our company inside out

More about you

We’d like you to have the following:

  • Experience working in a fast-paced customer service role, contact centre, or office administration environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Great attention to detail, however you also see the big picture
  • Exceptional organisation and planning skills, and the ability to monitor and adjust priorities on an ongoing basis
  • The ability to identify issues and opportunities, and develop and implement effective solutions
  • Tech-savvy – ability to learn fast and adapt to new tools
  • Grit – ability to stay calm and focussed in a dynamic environment
