A flexible recycling solution for the bank of the future.
When the November 2016 Kaikoura earthquake displaced the Wellington BNZ Partners team from their office at Harbour Quays, it presented a unique opportunity to design a flagship space.
The concept for 1 Victoria Street, Wellington, was to “build a bank around you” – to tailor and adapt the physical and digital experience to suit customer needs.
Charlie Noble-Beasley, Managing Partner, describes her vision for the centre as a ‘palpable’ workplace. “You should be able to feel that business is being done here,” she says.
We had seen Method bins work phenomenally well at our Auckland site- where around 1000 BNZ’ers use them daily- so we knew they would work well in the Wellington Partners Centre.

Method’s objective with BNZ was to build a recycling initiative around them. Our 60L Office Recycling Bins have already helped the organisation beat their target for reducing waste to landfill.
The flexibility of Method's visible and freestanding recycling stations has been incredibly helpful for BNZ in the Wellington Partners Centre while they continue to understand how customers are using the space.
